What is Nanotechnology?

The various designs offer thermal comfort, anti-static, comfort fashion, orthopaedic or other applications. The combination of new materials and designs offers water resistance and breathability advantages. Our vision is to blur the lines between fashion and science!

The idea behind this label is to combine Italian craftsmanship with high-tech innovation. The contemporary and innovative nature of HOH is emphasized by the use of modern technological developments such as 3D printing and nanotechnology.

You can't feel it or see it the different unless under a microscope. You don’t see it so it won't affect the look which is important in fashion but can change functionalities of the material (more wear resistant, comfortable and durable). Combination of elegance and nanotechnology to enhance their quality.

The innovations help control microbe growth and odour, while also improving water resistance, breathability, wearer health and comfort.

The innovations consist of new leather and microfiber materials for shoe uppers and linings and new polymers for insoles and soles. The developments offer health, environmental and quality benefits.

New composite polymer materials boast thermal and electrical management properties based on nanoparticles and nanofillers. The developments reduce accumulation of static electricity, improving both comfort and safety.

The group also developed new footwear designs incorporating the new materials in combination. The various designs offer thermal comfort, anti-static, comfort fashion, orthopaedic or other applications. Our built-in, ergonomically designed insoles are made with thermoplastic compounds that have been enhanced with nanoclay, a compound made of nano size particles from minerals. The addition of nanoclay in our thermoplastic gels dramatically increases the comfort and durability of the shoe.

Our patented nanoGel™ insoles have been rigorously tested for resistance to dynamic compression at pressures higher than walking and running. The insoles have been subjected to over 10,000 dynamic compressions in order to ensure their durability over time.
